Carlton Campbell
Chief Deputy
Vermilion Parish Clerk of Court
I have been an employee for the Vermilion Parish Clerk of Court since December, 1974. During this time I have worked in Public Service, Mortgage Certificates and since 1980 as a Minute Clerk. My experience as Minute Clerk ranges from working on contract murders (first degree) to littering.
During these 33 years with the Clerk’s office, I have worked with five different Clerks' of Court, including the incumbent, Diane Meaux Broussard. Serving the public and being able to help people is what has made my job a pleasure.
I am a graduate of Herod High School, the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) and Howard University in Washington, D.C. My wife, Belinda and I have been married for 28 years. We have two children. |
